Recertification with Phil Ackland will help you continue to stand out from your competition. The Phil Ackland Certification is respected by fire inspectors, restaurant managers, property owners, and city leaders all across the United States and Canada. Current certification shows that your skills are current.
Your certification is valid for three years after your exam completion date. We will notify you by mail/email of your upcoming expiration date. Once we receive your Renewal form and payment we will send you instructions on how to take your Renewal Quiz and any additional paperwork we may need.
It is expected that students attempting to renew their certifications have stayed involved in the kitchen exhaust hood cleaning industry, have kept up with changes in the field by reading technical updates, attending and attending workshops/tradeshows. If you do not meet this description, please consider retaking the Phil Ackland 5 Day Kitchen Hood Cleaning School to regain your certification.
